My partner and I came here to celebrate their birthday and Thomas & Lambert made it an absolutely delightful experience!
We're both fans of cheese and hearty food so we may have over ordered on the entrees but it was so worth it. The French Onion soup and scallops are a must and the Camembert dip was a real interesting but tasty experience!
They even gave us a delicious ice cream pastrie as a birthday treat! Would definitely recommend!
Very delicious French cuisine. Great meat and onion soup. Highly recommended. We had a great service by Thomas- really kind and professional waiter.
Loved the atmosphere and decor. Fast and attentive service. But food does not meet expectations. Best was creme brûlée 9/10 beef tartare 8/10 onion soup 5/10 escargot 8/10 bread 7/10
In terms of food i preferred gavroche but bouillon has the atmosphere
Last night (Saturday the 3rd) was the first time I have tried French cuisine in my life. I was excited yet, did not know what to expect as it’s been a cuisine which has alluded me my entire life.
So, when I had the opportunity to taste the dishes brought out to our bar table (boeuf bourguignon & the duck magret) I was simply blown away. The flavours were out of this world and then and there understood why French is considered one of the great cuisines of the world.
The service was also impeccable, the cozy little spot we were situated in and the wait staff supporting us throughout the night felt like we were transported to a different part if the world entirely. I almost forgot we were in Sydney.
I love this food, I love this team, I love this restaurant. I am glad this was my first experience with French cuisine.
Update: Feel the service has slipped as the venue has gotten more popular. Our table of 3 were squeezed onto a table meant for 2 and service was slow for a 2 hour sitting - we were rushed out by the end. Also visited for happy hour but was told the tables were booked (they were empty) and was taken to a table upstairs instead where happy hour wasn’t even available. Food is still amazing though!
Beautiful venue with lovely staff and incredible authentic French food! The best I’ve ever had in Sydney. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Standout dishes were the grilled duck (magret) and truffle oil mash.
I visited with high hopes and left deeply disappointed. Our $160 steak was tough and unpalatable, and to our dismay, it was served cold. With over $300 spent, we expected a meal that lived up to the cost. Regrettably, the service was as underwhelming as the food; staff members were rude and disengaged. For a high-end steakhouse, both the quality of the food and the level of service were unacceptable. Management needs to address these severe shortcomings promptly.

We started with Onion soup, Camembert roti, Crabe and Escargot. And had Dry Aged Striploin and Gnocchis for main.

Love the vibe but service was bit shame. Floor manager was asking us is we were going to have a dessert and we were still going on with our food. We said we aren’t sure yet and he did asked again that we are running out of time and it was only 19:15 and our reservation was 18:00-20:00
We needed up having dessert elsewhere as we were feeling uncomfortable.

The restaurant can make you feel like you are in authentic French restaurant. Soft lighting (not too dark) and comfortable seating.
Lovely French restaurant by Circular Quay, just like being in Paris with authentic French waiters, great service, wonderful flavours, and French ambience. Reasonably priced for the city and for a celabratory meal you can't go wrong really! We had 3 courses without wine and paid about $120 each. The star for me was the crêpes Suzette flambé, but everything was just great!
